For the movie Salt, she ate about five smaller meals a day and stuck to a diet program of seventy percent carbs and thirty percent protein. Seventy percent carbs!?…how did she not gain weight? With the intense training regimen, limiting carbs was not an option. But she did avoid junk food, and consumed alcohol only on weekends. In other words, she was eating clean, but not totally depriving herself.

Let’s evaluate the workout. A lot of her working out includes varied-intensity exercises like kickboxing and weight lifting. These types of training burned significantly more calories for long periods after Jolie finished working out (up to 38 hours in one study).
